2023 Energy Matters Information Session

On Tuesday, January 24, 2023, the ASC held its 2023 Energy Matters Information Session. During this free virtual event, staff from the ASC’s Energy Group expanded upon the findings in the 2022 Energy Matters Report to help Alberta reporting issuers prepare transparent, timely and accurate energy-related disclosure. The event also provided insight into Alberta’s capital market, the preparation of helium and renewable hydrocarbon disclosure, environmental sustainability disclosure from energy-related RIs, particularly concerning greenhouse gas emissions, and how to improve disclosure with regards to the requirements of NI 51-101 Standards of Disclosure For Oil and Gas Activities.
