Using the listed issuer financing exemption and the self-certified investor exemption to raise capital for your business
The Alberta Securities Commission hosted a free virtual webinar on Thursday, February 9, 2023 from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. MT to discuss the listed issuer financing exemption and the self-certified investor prospectus exemption. These two relatively new prospectus exemptions were adopted to help smaller issuers in their capital raising efforts. ASC staff provided an overview of each exemption, their relevance in our current market, how they can be used by reporting issuers, discussed some commonly asked questions, and addressed questions during the webinar.
